What is the Forest Stewardship Council®? (FSC®)
FSC® is an independent, non-governmental, not for profit organization established to promote the responsible management of the world’s forests. It provides standard setting, trademark assurance and accreditation services for companies and organizations interested in responsible forestry. Products carrying the FSC® label are independently certified to assure consumers that they come from forests that are managed to meet the social, economic and ecological needs of present and future generations.

Sustainable Forestry Initiative (SFI) 
The Sustainable Forestry Initiative label is a sign that you are buying wood and paper products from well-managed forests, backed by rigorous, third-party certification audit.
The standard addresses key environmental, social and economic forest values – from water quality and biodiversity, to harvesting and regeneration.
Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification (PEFC) 
PEFC promotes sustainable forest management – environmentally and socially beneficial, and economically viable management of forests for present and future generations – through independent third party forest certification.
PEFC provides and assurance to purchasers of wood and paper products that they are promoting the sustainable management of forests.
PEFC has become the world’s largest forest certification umbrella organization.
